One question to arise was concerning bids for the services. The Chairman ask that it be reviewed, and that he would appoint a special committee to work with Jerry Janulewicz and Susan Stucker with the Social Service department and bring before the Board November 22nd meeting. Dan Hostler Public Works Director, explained the quarterly road report. and answered several questions from Board members. Hostler presented a recommendation from the Public Works Department to accept bids for project C40(253) a precast box culvert on S Shady Bend Road for 10:00 A.M. on November 29, 1994. Motion made by Frauen seconded by Leslie to accept the recommendation and set the date for bid opening for November 29, 1994 at 10:00 A.M. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to open bids for a tractor loader for the Parks Department. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Bids were opened and tabulated. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to refer the bids to Charles Kaufman, Parks Director, and come back to the Board next week, November 15th with his recommendation. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Resolution #1599 was read for withdrawal of collateral from FirsTier Bank. Frauen made motion, seconded by Abernethy to approve the resolution.
