<br />Cf'tJr-:<9tfl <br /> <br />Dale Cox with NIRMA visited with the Board concerning the renewal policy <br />book and answered several questions and concerns of the Board. <br /> <br />Discussed a claim submitted by Attorney Vincent Valentmno, special <br />prosecutor for interim payment of fees and expenses. Motion made by <br />Landis, seconded by Quandt to refer this claim to the County Attorney <br />in regards to payment from the city. . <br /> <br />'10:30 A.M. - Board of Corrections meeting as advertised. <br /> <br />Gerard Piccolo, Public Defender, asked for authorization to hire one <br />full time employee instead of two part time employees. Abernethy made <br />motion to authorize piccolo to hire one full time employee, Leslie <br />seconded the motion. Abernethy, Frauen and Leslie voted yes, Hartman <br />Landis and Quandt voted no. Motion did not carry. <br /> <br />Sandi Yoder, Museum Director, explained the claim submitted for repairs <br />of the roof on Fonner Rotunda building. She also stated that funds had <br />come from a private donor to redo the activity center and the educational <br />program. <br /> <br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor, submitted tax correction notices #655 thru <br />697. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to authorize the Chairman <br />to initial the notices. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and <br />Quandt voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Pelland needs room for the GIS and asked that her department be able to <br />continue the use of the 2nd floor room which is now being used for re- <br />appraisal. The Chairman said. the Board would wait until the assessment <br />needs repo~t came in the first of November to make any decision. <br /> <br />Leslie made motion, seconded by Quandt to approve the manager application <br />for Mary P. Waters for Wood River Country Club. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Frauen left at 11:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Motion made by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to approve resolution *1596 <br />Five Points Bank exchanging pledged collateral of US Treasury Notes. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis and Leslie voted yes, Quandt voted no.
