<br />James Truell, Attorney was present. Supervisor Landis explained the committee
<br />meeting in regard to third level court appointed counsel for indigent defense
<br />cases. Attorney Truell spoke in regard to his proposal for the appointed
<br />counsel at rate of $45.00 an hour, he has three attorneys in his office to
<br />handle the cases, and asked for a si~ month to one year contract.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to hire Truell Attorney firm for the
<br />third tier court appointed attorneys for six months with option to renew.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Ray Meyer, Midwest Insurance & Associates spoke in regard to Health Insurance
<br />on the self funding plan ,and presented plan for county consideration. Board
<br />members to study information.

<br />10: 00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING: to consider the renewal of conditional use permit
<br />for H&H Land Company to operate an overnight campground at Holiday Conoco
<br />Service Station at Interstate 80 and Highway 281 interchange.

<br />on Thursday, August 11, 1994.

<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
