He reported cost of $130,000.00 to set up Assessor, Register of Deeds and High- way department. ~ ~ Hostler also reported on meeting he attended for Surveyors. He had book on safety & workmen's compensation which was given to County Board Assistant. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly update report. She spoke in regard to memo to omit items for $50.00 or less on county inventories and report she had received from State Auditor's office. Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk that items under $50.00 not be listed on county inventories. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted.yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Merrill reported on the A.D.A fund budget proposed for 1994-1995 would need to have resolution to transfer money to establish the fund, until tax dollars are received. Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to authorize Ellen Merrill to prepare resolution to transfer $70,000.00 from General fund to establish A.D.A fund. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried. Merrill reported on the AT&T custom flex plan and board members asked her to research and to meet with Howard Maxon if necessary for additional information. She gave several thank you notes for board members signatures to send to people who assisted with County employees picnic. Had request from employee in County Assessor's office for reinstatement of leave, due to differences in CWA contract and county employees handbook. Discussion followed. Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie that 2 weeks leave be reinstated::to an employee in County Assessor's office and also County Treasurer's office and 2 days to County Road employee on funeral leave. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Chairman recessed meeting at 11:45 a.m. to return to session at 1:30 p.m~ Returned to regular session at 1:30 p.m. with all Board Members present. Board members reviewed the proposed Road Department budget for 1994-1995 with Dan Hostler, Public Works Director.
