<br />Quandt made motion, seconded by Frauen to approve the renewal
<br />amusement license for Gas N Shop, convenience store at I-80 and
<br />AIda Interchange. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,~ Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Ordinance to set speed limit on Gunbarrel Road between Bismark Rd and
<br />Baker st was read and approved by motion of Landis to change the limit
<br />from 50 MPH to 45 MPH. Motion was seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />Continued memberhip of Dan Hostler to the Transportation Steering
<br />Committee was approved by the motion of Stelk with a second by
<br />Abernethy. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk
<br />voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />by Abernethy to certify United Nebraska Bank for this purpose.

<br />Leslie reported the Museums air conditioner in the main building
<br />went out. The were able to order a re-conditioned compressor which
<br />will cost about $10,000. Their asking money will be higher this year,
<br />due to some maintenance & repairs that are needed at the museum.
<br />
<br />Joel Dalton, Correction Director, report that his department was short
<br />of cash. He gave the amounts needed to pay claims for this month, which
<br />we;re $19,000.

<br />Landis made motion, seconded by Quandt to allow jail claims in the
<br />amount of $12,000 to paid out of Miscellaneous General Fund line item
<br />#2-3650 and $7,000 to be paid out of Miscellaneous General Fund line
<br />item # 2-1303. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, Frauen was absent.

<br />Joel Dalton gave report on meeting for a Juvenile Center with fourteen
<br />people at the meeting from four counties.

<br />that the next City Council Study Session will discuss the County's
<br />offer to purchase the former city hall building. This study session
<br />is schedule for July 5th at 7:00 P.M.
