<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9: 00 A.M. :_:fxom! adjourned
<br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.

<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk.
<br />None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Leslie.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of June 14th meeting were approved as received with motion
<br />being made by Frauen, seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney, Jerry Janulewicz, reviewed and explained
<br />information concerning the 1991 Board of Equalization appeals for
<br />~qualizattonofreal property with personal property that was not
<br />taxed. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to authorize the
<br />County Attorney to agree to consolidation of thes~ cases and
<br />stipulate to uncontested facts as deemedappr~p~i~t~ by the County
<br />Attorney or her designated deputy. Abernet:ny~ Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />9:28 A.M. Frauen made motion, seconded by Abernethy to go into Board
<br />of Equalization. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />9:33 A.M. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to return to
<br />regular session. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />9:35 A.M.- Commenced audit of monthly claims.
<br />
<br />Quandt lIlade lIlotion that the $80.00 claim for decorating of the new
<br />judge ~---siven,to her to pay, since she offered to pay for it. No
<br />seconded was made; therefore the motion died for a lack of a second.
<br />
<br />Motion by Frauen tOc:l.pprove claims with the exception of IBM and

<br />Chairman Hartman .announca~th~tof the three claims held from last
<br />month, one had beem.withdrawn,;that being the one submitted by
<br />David Kusek. ~~_asked tbafthe-Clerk's office check with the Attorneys
<br />office on the other two which were to St Francis Medical Center and
<br />Central Nebraska Cardiology Consultants. Frauen made motion, seconded
<br />by Leslie to pay the IBM and Information Systems claims held earlier.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt
<br />voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Frauen made motion to have elected officials to get an approval from
<br />the Board for all purchases over $500.00. Stelk seconded the motion.
<br />After 'dTscussiorlr Frauen withdrew the motion and Stelk withdrew her
<br />second~--~~--
<br />
<br />Stelk made motion, seconded by Frauen to appoint Christopher R.Waters,
<br />Janet Janulewicz and John A.Tignor to the County Health Board.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />none voted no.
<br />
<br />Stelk made motion, seconded by Leslie to authorize the chairman to
<br />sign contract for the courthouse elevator project and miscellaneous
<br />"ADA" projects. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
