Motion carried. ~. .. s Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly report and update. The crew filming "My Antonia" at Stuhr Museum has requested used of building at C.A.A.P. and requires letter of support from County Board for their request to use building. She had letter prepared if County Board wishes to sign. (Board members agreed to sign letter of support) (2) Need appointment of Health Board Members on County Board agenda for June 21st meeting (3) Need to set meeting with Joel Dalton in regard to computers. (4) Merrill has had inquires from County Department Heads in regard to salary increase for the Appointed Department Heads to be included in budget requests (5) Need to discuss use for Keno revenue for the 1994-1995 County budget. .. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Stelk: Building & Grounds Committee met with District Judge Luther, the desk and chair to be purchased from District Judge's budget. Also met with Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism Director and went on the tour of old City Hall Building. Landis: Attended the tour of old City Hall Building. Quandt: Attended the meeting at Chamber of Commerce on South Locust inter- change project. Frauen: Went to Kearney with Park Superintendent Kaufman to check on cherry picker, 1987 Chevrolet with 40 foot boom $15,000.00 Also reported on another one with 24 foot boom cost $24,000.00 but this one out because would not be long enough boom for county use. Board members requested they check out cost to lease this equipment. Abernethy: attended tour of old City Hall buildin9~1 City Clerk , City Building Inspector and Downtown Development Director~conducted the tour. Hartman reported they have started the interviews for the Mid Plains Center Director. , Quandt reported on South Locllst ~nterchange project meeting at Chamber of Commerce. Leslie had"also attended this meeting. Discussion on Building & Grounds Committee resignation of Quandt. Frauen said he would serve as third member of committee.
