<br />9~f' - It', 1 <br />j <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, <br /> <br />JUNE 7, 1994 <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />~The Hall County B"oard of Supervisors met at 9: 00 a .m. from adjourned session <br />~and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Jones, Immanuel Baptist Church. <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of May 31st meeting were accepted as corrected by Abernethy. Motion <br />by Quandt, seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz was present. <br /> <br />Attorney Bruce Smith spoke in regard to a special designated liquor permit <br />for Jan Stoney for U.S. S~nate reception at Milan Bish and Phil Werner homes <br />to be catered by Jim Swanson, Dowd Steakhouse. Requested letter of approval <br />from County Board for a one time event, June 8, from 6:00 til 9:00 p.m. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to approve the request for special <br />designated permit. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz presented an Intracounty Agreement between Hall <br />County Attorney, Hall County Keno Administrator and Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors for reimbusement to Hall County General Fund $3000.00 for fiscal <br />year July 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995 for supplies, equipment and services <br />for Keno Administrator. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie to approve and authorize chairman <br />to sign the Intracounty Agreement with County Attorney's office. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to recess for Executive Session in regard <br />to E.O.C. complaint. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Executive Session at 9:22 a.m. on E.O.C. complaint and conference call with <br />outside attorney Jerry pigsley. <br />Returned to regular session at 10:04 a.m. on motion by Frauen, seconded by <br />Quandt. Aber~ethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:05 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING: Requested change of land use district from AG-l <br />(Agricultural) zone to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) zone for 80 acre tract <br />of land for Michael & Barbara Binfield and Mitchell & Janice Binfield, to <br />permit two small tracts to be created and titled separately from the remaining <br />land located in E 1/2 NE 1/4 Section 19, Township 9, Range 10 Hall County. <br />Affidavit of publication was presented as published in Grand Island Indep- <br />endent on Friday, May 27, 1994. <br /> <br />Nelson Helm, Regional Planning .Commission Director .gave recommendation from <br />Planning Commission, that the board approve the requested change of land use <br />district. <br />No one present spoke for or against the land use change. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to approve the rezoning of AG-l to <br />P.U.D. request from the Binfields. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution to change certain property from AG-l (Agricultural) District to <br />a Planned Unit Development Zone. was presented. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1570 as pre- <br />sented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no.
