Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Leslie and Quandt voted yes, none voted no, with Landis and Stelk absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hartman reported Weed Superintendent report on spraying roadsides for weeds~ <br />Hostler says he has no funds in budget to pay for weed spraying. <br />Reported 'on Mid Plains Center meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy asked about the request for cleaning of air vents at Social Ser- <br />vices building. Leslie stated he had told Rick, Building & Grounds to get <br />them cleaned. <br /> <br />County Clerk asked in Board Members wish to have meeting on Friday, May 27 <br />to review the 41 protests with County Assessor or if they wished to review <br />the protests and take final action at 1:30 p.m. on May 31st Board of Equal- <br />ization meeting. Board Members agreed to do at 1:30 on May 31st. <br /> <br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor requested time to visit with board members in <br />regard to subdivision valuations. She spoke in regard to the valuations <br />on market data analysis. Jim Haug, State Department of Revenue was also <br />present. County Assessor recommended increasing 15 to 20% across the board <br />instead of subdivisions as approved at earlier meeting. She explained the <br />reasons for reqeust. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Frauen to authorize County Assessor to <br />adjust rates by 15% overall increase on residential properties in Hall <br />County. Abernethy, Frauen and Leslie voted yes, Hartman and Quandt voted <br />no, with Landis and Stelk absent.
