<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to send letter to EIS(E.A.) that future
<br />meetings be advertised and news media and public be invited. Quandt, Hartman
<br />and Stelk voted yes, Abernethy and Frauen voted no, Landis and Leslie "
<br />abstained. Motion failed to carry.
<br />
<br />Karen Rathke, Central Nebraska Community Services presented update report on
<br />programs offered. Presented written information on services provided in
<br />Hall County.
<br />Rhonda Wagner, Jackie Havel, Sam Zeleski, Attorney and Rev Tim Anderson
<br />were present during this presentation.
<br />
<br />Hall County Treasurer report on the return of the Public Tax Sale held during
<br />month of March 1994 was presented as filed in County Clerk's office on April
<br />4, 1994.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to accept and place on file the
<br />County Treasurer's Public Tax Sale report as presented. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant presented letters prepared for board
<br />member's signatures to Kansas City Officials in regard to Head Start and
<br />County audit and letter of support to Boys & Girls Club for teen center.
<br />(2) County Attorney had requested the use of County Board room, the first
<br />Thursday of each month.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Quandt to deny request for use of county
<br />board room. Hartman, Landis and Quandt voted yes, Abernethy Frauen, Leslie
<br />andStelk voted no. Motion failed to carryon 3 yes, 4 no vote.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to allow County Attorney to use
<br />County Board Room one day a month as requested on a temporary basis. Aber-
<br />nethy, Hartman, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Frauen, Landis and Quandt voted
<br />no. Motion carried on 4 yes, 3 no vote.

<br />Merrill reported Vince Valentino, Attorney from York Nebraska requested use
<br />of County Board Room for Thursday, April 14, 10:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m. for
<br />hearing.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to grant permission for Valentino
<br />to use Board room on April 14th as requested. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Merrill requested next six Fridays off for vacation days, to use accumulated
<br />vacation before anniversary date of June 10th. (Board members approved
<br />request)
