<br />?f;:-ti~- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, MARCH 1, 1994 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session <br />~- <br />and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Ste1k. None were <br />absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Matthews, Cathedral of Praise Church. <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of February 15th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by <br />Quandt, seconded by Leslie. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />February 22nd, meeting was cancelled due to snow storm. <br /> <br />N9 representative from County Attorney's office was present.- <br /> <br />Interlocal Agreement with City of Grand Island in regard to ambulance purchase <br />was presented for consideration. Jim Rowell City of Grand Island Fire Chief <br />and Doris Mason, Hall County Treasurer were present. <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to approve and authorize chairman <br />to sign interlocal agreement as presented for ambulance purchase. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. . <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt, to take funds for ambulance from the <br />Inheritance Fund anato be repaid to the inheritance fund. Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to adopt Resolution #1547 as presented <br />for conditional use permit for Werner Construction. Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /5'~7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CONDITIONAL USE OF <br />THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW 1/4) OF SECTION FOUR (4), TOWNSHIP <br />TWELVE (12) NORTH, RANGE NINE (9) WEST OF THE 6 th P.M., <br />HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS on behalf of Leonard Mohr, owner of the Southwest <br />Quarter' (SW 1/4) of Section Four (4), Township Twelve (12) <br />North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M:, Hall ~o';lnty, <br />Nebraska, Werner Construction. Co., here~n~fte~. J01ntly <br />referred to as "owner," has made written app11cat~on to use <br />the above-described property for the erection and operation <br />of a concrete plant, an asphalt mixing plant, and an <br />aggregate stockpile to be used for the manufacture of paving <br />material. for State of Nebraska Road Project F281-2{1010) St. <br />Libory North and South until completion of said project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS a public hearing on said application was held on <br />February 15, 1994, by the .Hall County Board of Supervisors <br />upon due and proper notice of said hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said public hearing the public was given the <br />opportunity to speak in favor of and in opposition to the <br />application for conditional use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Zoning Resolution permits the <br />authorization by the County Board of Supervisors of a non- <br />conforming conditional use for a period not to exceed two <br />years. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the application of qwner for a <br />temporary conditional use of the above-described property is <br />hereby granted subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Owner may erect and operate a concrete plant, an asphalt <br />plant, and stoclg>ile aggregate upon said property, said <br />plants and aggregate to be used for the manufacture of road <br />loaving materials for the above-described State Road Project. <br />
