<br />County Clerk asked for nominations for 1994 County Board Vice Chairman
<br />Frauen nominated Tammie Stelk
<br />No other nominations were made. Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie
<br />that nominations close.
<br />County Clerk stated if no objections to cast unanimous ballot for
<br />Tammie Stelk as Vice Chairman. Seconded by Leslie. No objections.
<br />
<br />Tammie Stelk was elected 1994 County Board Vice Chairman.

<br />Chairman Hartman presented plaque to Gary Quandt for serving as 1993 Hall
<br />County Board Chairman. Board members expressed appreciation to Quandt for
<br />his services. Quandt thanked board members for their support the past year.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Stelk to recess for Executive Session with
<br />Deputy Attorney Mark Young on the Grand Island Mall bankruptcy litigations.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Executive Session at 10:47 a.m. and returned to regular session at 11:10 a.m.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to authorize Attorney Young to continue
<br />on bankruptcy case as outlined in Executive Session. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis," Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Final Plats for Eppert Subdivision and White Cloud Subdivision were presented
<br />for consideration. Nelson Helm Regional Planning Director was present and
<br />explained the locations and reasons for requests. Eppert Subdivision is
<br />located on west side of Gunbarrel Road approximacely 1/4 mile north of
<br />Stolley Park Road and White Cloud Subdivision is located on south side of
<br />White Cloud Road approximately 1/2 mile east of Burwick Road. Regional
<br />Planning Commission had approved the final plats and recommended County Board
<br />approve final plats as submitted.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize Chairman
<br />to sign final plats as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />WHEREAS, the Ball County Board of Supervisors is required by
<br />la~ to set and establish salaries for elected county officials; and
<br />WHEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1994 the Hall County Board
<br />of Supervisors met in regular public meeting and, by vote duly
<br />recorded as provided by law, approved a motion setting the proposed
<br />salary for the office of county supervisor effective January 5,
<br />1995, and authorized the drafting of a resolution setting forth
<br />said proposed salary for final vote by the Board of Supervisors at
<br />its next regular public meeting; and
<br />WHEREAS, the said resolution was prepared and considered by
<br />the Board of Supervisors on this date.

<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Landis to adopt Resolution #1534 for
<br />County Board of Supervisors salaries as presented. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, Frauen and Stelk voted no. Motion

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BALL COUNTY BOARD OF
<br />SUPERVISORS that effective January 5, 1995;
<br />The annual salary for the office of county supervisor be
<br />established at $14,500.00 per year. In addition to said salary,
<br />each county supervisor shall receive during his or her term of
