Hartman.made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept and place-on file.----Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Discussion was held on the possibility of making the Weed Control superintendent position a part time office or combining it with the Road Department. Abernethy appointed a committee of Landis, Hartman and Stelk to study this. This will be discussed again on January 16. The committee report on the rotunda painting was received by the board members. Quandt made a motion and Landis seconded to release the check to Mendyk Painting. Abernethy suggested that the Board should have been enformed of the color change and it should have been inspected before the scafolding was removed. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. The Public Works Committee Report on Bridge Project C40(222) was read. Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to accept and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotte~ and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. . The Janitorial Committee met December 14 with G&D Janitorial. committee recommended a 4 year contract. Discussion was held this would have to go out for bids. The committee will check Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz to clarify this. The if with Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded to place the item to set the Public Defender's salary on the January 9 agenda. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Richard Hartman received a request from Mr.Freeman requesting to use the Hall County Park March 14,15 and 16 for the Boy Scouts Jamboree. Hartman made a motion and Leslie seconded to let the Boy Scouts use the park. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Jan Pelland Hall County Assessor presented tax correction notices 198 to 1,126. Rosenkotter made a motion and Hartman seconded to authorize the Chair to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Board Assistant Ellen Merrill's Report - Her weekly progress report was included in the board members's packets. She reported that additional records had been found in the county superintendent's vault and requested authorization to microfilm these. Rosenkotter made a motion and Stelk seconded to microfilm these records. Abernethy .~ Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Board Member Reports - Leslie - He attended the Stuhr Museum ~Boa~dmeeting. He reported that they are still looking for a pickup. Landis - She attended the scope of work and the FOP is to be released in 2 weeks. They sent a letter to Tom Shay requesting to be included in the selection of a consultant.
