--- HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORSME:~TING-,-, OCTOBER 24, 1995 ~. 95F-..3/0 ~~ ~ The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session and by published call. Vice Chairman Tammie Stelk called the meeting to order. Present were Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk. Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman and Margaret Landis were not present. Hartman and Landis were attending a meeting at City Hall. Invocation was given by Rev Vernon Werner, Calvary Baptist Church. Pledge of Allegiance was given. Started review of monthly claims. Abernethy arrived at 9:30 A.M. Margaret Landis arrived at 10:15 A.M. 10:30 A.M. Chairman Abernethy called for roll call. Present were Irene Abernethy, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk. Absent was Richard Hartman. County Attorney's Office was not represented today. Approved minutes of October 13th meeting, motion by Quandt, seconded by Rosenkotter to accept as received. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. Presented was the agreement with State Department of Social Services to reimburse county for federal share of costs incurred in providing office and service facilities for the public assistance programs. Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to approve the agreement and authorize chairman to sign. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, .Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. Discussion on Policy for Hall County Board for video recording of the County Board meetings by the County Board Assistant. Correction was . requested for 3.0 responsibilities. Ellen Merrill to make corrections and return policy for action at afternoon session. Quandt questions the recording and minutes of committee meetings. Discussion followed, but no action was taken. The following County Office reports were presented and read: Clerk of District Court, fees collected for September $4131.60 Register of Deeds,Documentary stamp tax fees for Sept. $3151.95 recording fees for September $9347.50 photo fees for September $ 696.00 Veterans' Service Office report for quarter ending September 30, 1995 Communication-Civil Defense Department report for September, 1995 Motion by Stelk, seconded by Leslie to accept and place on file the county office reports as presented. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Roserikotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS: 1. Dennis R. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant report: 1. Housing Authority Luncheon set for November claim day. 2. Susan Stuckert,Social Services Depa~tment called that the may need additional funding for GeneralAssistance~or-energy assistance funding for clients this winter. --~ ---
