Motion carried. <br /> <br />Final Plats were'presented for Murdock Subdivision located on west side of <br />AIda Road, immediately north of Guenther Road and Schaaf's Third Subdivi- <br />sion located on north side of Seedling Mile Road, approximately 200 feet <br />west of Gunbarrel Road. <br />Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director was present and explained the <br />locations and reasons for subdivisions. He stated the Planning Commission <br />approved plats and recommended the County Board appprove the final plats as <br />submitted at their meeting of September 6, 1995. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to approve and authorize chair- <br />man to sign the final plats for Murdock Subdivision and Schaaf's Third <br />Subdivision. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no, with Rosenkotter absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director explained the stop sign ordinanc~ for <br />intersection of prairie Road and North road. <br />Motion "by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to accept and adopt the stop <br />sign ordinance for intersection of prairie Road and North Road. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Rosenkotter absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director presented the report to Board of Public <br />Roads Classifications and Standards for July 1, 1994 thru June 30, 1995. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to receive, accept and authorize <br />chairman to sign Cert~fication to Board of Public Roads Classification and <br />Standards. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, <br />none voted no, with Rosenkotter absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Received request to close paved road one mile east or north of District lR <br />School from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday October 8th, with rain date set <br />for October 15th for St. Jude's Bike-A-Thon. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to grant the request to close <br />road east of lR School on October 8th or rain date October 15th for St Jude's <br />Hospital Bike A Thon. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Rosenkotter absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Loren Cleveland, representative of Business Telecommunications Systems was <br />present in regard to sound system taping services for County Board Room use <br />and explained the system recommended with cost of $4433.50 with additional <br />$310.00 for octive equalizer. <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Hartman to approve purchase of equipment <br />for $4743.50 from the Equipment Acquisition budget for sound system for <br />Board Room use. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, <br />Quandt"voted no, with Rosenkotter absent.
