<br />Jack Niemoth, representing the St Libory Quick Response Team, requested
<br />funding from Hall County for equipment, since they are just getting organized.
<br />He explained the formation of the team and there are 5 teams in Hall County.
<br />Rescue teams at Wood River and Shelton and Quick Response teams at Cairo,
<br />Doniphan & now St Libory. He stated Hall County Farm Bureau was making a
<br />donation of $500.00 to each team. Niemoth requested County Board consider
<br />making a donation to each team also.
<br />Discussion followed, since County Budget has already been set, suggested a
<br />committee be appointed to research and see if any funds could be obtained
<br />from this year's county budget.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to have Chairman appoint a
<br />committee with Deputy County Attorney included and refer to Committee for
<br />recommendation. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, none voted no, with Rosenkotter absent. Motion carried.

<br />Chair~an Abernethy appointed three member committee of Hartman, Landis and
<br />Leslie to meet with Deputy County Attorney for recommendations.

<br />Recessed for Hall County Board of Corrections meeting at 10:50 A.M. and
<br />returned to regular session at 11:23 A.M.

<br />Recessed for short Public Works Committee meeting with Public Works Director.

<br />Returned to session and Supervisor~Har~man -stated the Public Works Committee
<br />recommends accepting the bids of Gary Smith Construction on Asphalt and
<br />Wilke Contracting Co on culvert bids.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Landis to accept the low bids of Gary
<br />Smith Construction, $405,896.40 and bid of Wilke Contracting Co $55,075.39
<br />as recommended by Public-Works Committee and Director and authorize Chairman
