The 30 inventories were distributed to the seven Board members to be verified and set November 1, 1995 as dead- line to return inventories to County Clerk's Office. ~1 Landis brought for discussion the video recording of the County Board meetings. Motion by Landis, seconded by Hartman to proceed with video tape of the County Board Meeting to be., E.l.~ye.d on City TV station as soon as possible. Requested Ellen Merrill, Board Assistant to pursue all areas involving the costs for recording meetings. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Rosen- kotter and Stelk voted y~s, Quandt voted no (he wished to know costs before voting) . COMMUNICATIONS: 1. Notice the State Board of Equalization and Assessment has scheduled a meeting for Monday, September 11, 1995 at 10:30 A.M. to be held in Governor's Hearing Room at Capitol Building to discuss valuation and .equalizatj.onpolicies for 1996. 2. Letter from David A Walton, Secretary, Central District of Nebraska Association of County Officials in regard to complimentary bar at Central District meetings. (Copy was given to each board member) 3. State Department of Revenue Assessment/Sales ratio for real property for assessment year 1995. (Copy was given to each board member) 4. Letter in regard to Safety-Kleen Grand Island permit modifications. 5. Notice of District Transportation Meetings to be held during September and October. (Copy was given to Rosenkotter and Stelk) 6. Copies of letters from Jerry L Pigsley Attorney to Edward F. Pohren Attorney in regard to Hall County Public Defender's Budget. 7. Copy of letter from Jerry L. Pigsley Attorney to Hall County Deputy Attorney Jerom Janulewicz in regard to Hall County Public Defender's budget. 8. Copy of letter from Executive Director Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission to Gerard Piccolo, Hall County Public Defender, with a copy of draft advisory opinion prepared in response to his request dated June 20, 1995. Discussion on motion to cancell September 12th meeting. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to have County Board meeting next week,. September 12, 1995. Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, Abernethy and Rosenkotter voted no, Stelk abstained. Motion carried on 4 - 2 - 1 vote. Abernethy, Stelk and Rosenkotter stated they would not be attending next week's meeting as have made committments and will be out of town. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant report: Requested approval of memo in reg~rd to funds in Keno budget (board members approved sending.) Merrill presented letter to Otis Elevator for Board members to sign in regard to cancell service by Otis since would no longer have their elevator in operation. Reminder of Central District Meeting in Kearney, September 21, 1995 and need reservations today. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: David Walton letter in regard to complimentary bar at district meetings. Board members expressed it didn.'t matter to them one way or the other. Abernethy will send reply. Will meet at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 12th even tho only 4 members expressed they would be attending. BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Abernethy, Attended Family Violence Coalition meeting, Also AARP meeting wi th lToTi'ce Chief Watson and County Sheriff Fosket. Landis reported on Reuse Committee update. Committee of Landis, Rosenkotter and Hartman need to meet in regard to correspondence in reference to Max Boersen, Building Inspector. Chairman Abernethy thanked Ellen Merrill, and County Clerk Marjorie Haubold for their work in preparing the Hall County Budget this year. Chairman adjourned meeting at 11:36 A.M.
