<br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Ste1k to correct Official salary line item
<br />in Public Defender's budget to $43,500. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />. Rosenkotter and Ste1k voted yes, Hartman voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to replace $77,253.40 in county budgets
<br />as recommended by Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant that prepared the
<br />County Budget, and authorize her to make corrections. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, and Rosenkotter voted yes, Quandt and Stelkvoted no. Motion
<br />carried on 5 - 2 vote.

<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to adopt Resolution #1672 to adopt the
<br />1995-1996 Hall County Budget. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, and Rosen-
<br />kotter voted yes, Quandt and Ste1k voted no. Motion carried 5 - 2 vote.

<br />WHEREAS, a proposed county budget for the fiscal year July ~, 1995," to June 30, 1996, was prepared by the budget
<br />authority and, was transmitted to the County Board on the 18th day of July, 1995.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Hall County,
<br />Nebraska, as follows:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996, as categorically evidenced in the
<br />budget document be, and the same hereby is, adopted as the budget for Hall County for said fiscal year.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the offices, departments, activities, and institutions herein named are hereby authorized to expend
<br />the amounts herein appropriated to them during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1995 , and ending June 3D, 1996;
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the Income necessary to finance the appropriations made and expenditures authorized shall be
<br />provided out of the unencumbered cash balance in each fund, revenues other than taxation collected during the
<br />fiscal year In each fund, and the tax levy requirement for each fund.

<br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor presented tax correction notices #1025 thru #1033
<br />for approval. Motion by Quandt, seconded by Rosenkotter to authorize chair-
<br />man to initial tax correction notices #1025 thru #1033 as presented. Abernethy,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Ste1k voted yes, none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on Mid Plains Center letter received from Chairman Board of Trustees.
<br />Chairman Abernethy stated she would not change the 3 member study committee
<br />she had appointed. Rod Bass, Mid Plains Center Director was present and
<br />stated their Executive Board had recommended Vlach & Hartman be appointed to
<br />serve on the study committee as written in the Chairman's letter.
<br />
<br />Discussion on the September 12th County Board Meeting1 Chairman Abernethy
<br />will be in Washington D.C. and Vice Chairman Stelk will be on vacation.
<br />Have advertised for bids on box culverts and asphalt surfacing for September
<br />12th. After making phone call, stated bids could be received at County
<br />Clerk's office by September 12th and opened-at the September 19th meeting.
<br />
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Rosenkotter, to not have meeting on September
<br />12th for County Board. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosen-
<br />kotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
