Discussion followed. <br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Leslie to add the $1000.00 back in <br />the Health Department budget. Abernethy, Leslie and Rosenkotter voted yes, <br />Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted no, Hartman abstain~d. Motion failed on <br />3 yes, 3 no, 1 abstain vote. <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Rosenkotter to reinstated Public Defender <br />budget back to the total of $218,225.00, Stelk read the line items to <br />reflect the changes and to return the $21,464.64 from County/District Court <br />budget back into the Public Defender budget. Abernethy, Quandt, Rosen- <br />kotter and Stelk voted yes, Hartman, Landis and Leslie voted no. Motion <br />carried on 4 yes, 3 no vote. <br /> <br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Quandt to close the Public Hearing on the <br />1995-1996 Hall County Budget. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, None voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Closed Public Hearing at 11:57 A.M.,. Board Assistant to make necessary <br />changes made today and Resolution to adopt budget will be presented next <br />week's County Board Meeting. <br /> <br />Discussed the letter from Sheriff Fosket in regard to the exchange of guns <br />requested. <br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Quandt to approve the Sheriff's <br />request regarding the weapons. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, non~ voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed for Board of Equalization meeting at 12:04 P.M~ on motion by <br />Rosenkotter, seconded by Quandt. Returned to regular session at 12:14 P.M. <br /> <br />Board members authorized Ellen Merrill, Board Assistant request to attend <br />Safety Workshop in Kearney, NE on October 11, 1995. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: <br /> <br />Rosenkotter: Attended meeting on the time line for construction at Courthouse, <br />Attended Economic Development meeting, Sub Committee on Transportation <br />meeting and the State Director Health Department meeting. <br /> <br />Stelk: Attended Visitors Promotion meeting and the Transportation Sub- <br />Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy: Construction at Courthouse meeting with Architect Marv Webb, <br />Attended Head Start Meeting, State Director Health Department meeting <br />and Central Community College meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman presented written Public Works Committee recommendation: <br />.. . the Hall County Public Works Committee recommends the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors receive bids on the following Projects: <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />Asphalt Surfacing (1995 Maintenance Overlays) <br /> <br />C40(14)-3 One-RRoad <br />C40(239) Guenther Road <br /> <br />3 miles <br />1 mile <br /> <br />Box Culverts <br /> <br />C40(270) Abbott Road Triple 12' x 7' x 40' <br />C40(271) So.
