<br />Executive Session at 10:11 A.M. for CWA negotiation discussion. Returned to
<br />regular session at 10:27 A.M. on motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk. Aber-
<br />nethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Betty_Curtis, Dir~ctor of Clean Community System and Gene Kramer, a Board
<br />member spoke in regard to Hall County roadside clean-up project. Mr Kramer
<br />explained the program and requested the County Board consider becoming a
<br />Grand Island Area Coporate-Business members of the Clean Community System and
<br />requested $750.00 membership. They will be making requests to other counties
<br />in the area. Board Members stated they would discuss at budget worksession
<br />this afternoon.
<br />
<br />Public Participation - John Wagoner spoke in regard to airport meeting and
<br />his request the County Board not give $100,000.00 to airport, Also mentioned
<br />funding for Museum and Zoo. Board Members told Mr. Wagoner they had
<br />removed the airport request from budget, they do not contribute to the Zoo,
<br />and have not decided what to budget for the Museum yet.
<br />Mr. Wagoner left meeting stating Good Luck and to Stop This Spending.

<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director presented the Highway Department Fiscal Year
<br />July 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995 report.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Rosenkotter to accept and place on file
<br />the Highway Department Fiscal Year report as presented. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />
<br />Contract Agreement with J.I.L. Asphalt Paving Company, City of Grand Island
<br />and Hall County for the overlay on Capital Avenue. County share of contract
<br />to be $62,042.94. J.I.L and City of Grand Island has already signed contract.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Stelk to approve and authorize County
<br />Board Members to sign the contract. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Letter of request from Agricultural Institute of Nebraska Inc, was presented.
<br />Requested permission to place directional signs along county roads prior to
<br />Husker Harvest Days, September 12, 13 & 14, 1995, also to utilize the county
<br />water truck to control dust problem at the show site.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Rosenkotter to approve the request for

<br />32 County Treasurers Certificates of Tax Sale #4674B through #4705B on all
<br />properties showing 2 or more years delinquent tax taken in name of Hall.,
<br />County as per order and resolution dated July 18, 1995. ."~
<br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Stelk to accept and place on file
<br />the County Treasurer letter. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
