Rosenkotter made a motion and Leslie seconded to authorize. the county clerk's office to sign the sub-group application. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and Hartman voted no. The office report from the Hall County Sheriff's Department for the months of April, May and June 1995 was read: U"'. Total fees, mileage, miscellaneous Total Copies Total Motor Vehicle inspections , $38,032.38 317.20 7,340.00 Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded to accept the report and place on file. (8/8/95 CORRECTION) The paragraph that was added to the county handbook was presented to the elected and appointed officials. They requested that a line stating "at the discretion of the county official" be added to the paragraph. This would also include telephone calls. Stelk made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to approve the amended paragraph #10 and add it to the county handbook. 'Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Discussion on the private practice in the county attorney and I public defendfll"s_Df;fice was held. The compensation to these attorneys who~dono~!have a private practice was mentioned. The board needs to look at the two offices and discuss it at the budget work session. Communications were reviewed by the board members. The letter from the National Organization on Disability was read by Abernethy requesting a representative from Hall Count~ Abernethy will sign this letter. Communications were accepted and placed on file 11:45 A.M. Stelk made a motion and Leslie seconded to go into executive session on the CWA negotiations. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. 11:50 A.M. Leslie made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to return to regular session. BOARD ASSISTANT ELLEN MERRILL The board authorized Merrill to send a letter to the city approving the appointment to the Health Board and will distribute a memo to the departments concerning the car that is available to the county. The new page to the county handbook will be distributed to the offices. Discussion on the judges shared buggets will be 'addressed at the budget work session. BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS Stelk - She attended the Midland Area on Aging and Jerry Ryan received a 3% raise. She also attended the Criminal Jutice meeting.. Leslie - He attended the Criminal Justice meeting. He also reported on the I-80 meeting. Rosenkotter - She attended the Economic Development Midland Area on Aging. Meeting adjourned at 12:05 P.M.
