<br />WHEREAS, there has been signed by Hall

<br />agreement providing for the construction of a Federal Aid Project beginning

<br />West, and extends 0.1 mile north, crossing Dry Creek.

<br />WHEREAS, in the above agreement, the County has pledged sufficient funds to finance its share
<br />of the cost of the construction of this project Identified as BRO-7040( 15) , ,and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the above mentioned agreement provided that the County would pay all costs not paid
<br />for with Federal or State funds, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the State received bids for the construction of this project on June 29. 1995 at
<br />which time 7 bids were received for the construction of this proposed work, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the following contractor{s) for the items of work listed has been selected as the low
<br />bldder(s) to whom the contract(s) should be awarded:
<br />

<br />Bridge, Guard Rail, General Items: $133,568.50
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration

<br />of the above facts; the Board, of'
<br />County, by this resolution, takes the following
<br />
<br />1. If for any reason the Federal Highway Administration rescinds, limits its obligations, or defers
<br />, payment of the Federal share of the cost of this project, the County hereby agrees to provide the necessary
<br />funds to pay for all costs incurred until and in the event such Federal funds are alloWed and paid.
<br />
<br />2. The Board hereby concurs in, the selection of the above mentioned contractor(s) for the items
<br />of work listed, to wl10m the contract(s) should be awarded.
<br />
<br />3. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairman to sign the contract(s) with the above mentioned
<br />contractor(s) for the above mentioned work.
<br />
<br />4. The Board' does not desire to perform any of the work with its own forces in lieu of performing
<br />the work by the contract method.

<br />The claim from. the State of Nebraska for the diesel fuel t.~}{Ylas
<br />submitted. Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to appr~ve~
<br />the claim for $1,262.40. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter' and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
<br />
<br />The agreement between Hall County and the State of Nebraska
<br />Department of Transportation on Project No. RPT-C401(196) was
<br />received. Stelk made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to authorize
<br />the chair to sign the agreements. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stlek all voted yes and none voted no.
