They invited the board to set up a table if they <br />wanted. <br /> <br />Quandt made motion to accept and place on file all communications <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS <br /> <br />Leslie - He reported on the meeting with the villages concerning <br />the law enforcement. Sheriff Fosket requested an hourly rate <br />for the additional services provided to the villages. The Criminal <br />J"us'tice(Committee '.consists of Leslie, Hartman, Stelk and Abernethy. <br /> <br />Rosenkotter - Attended the Veterans Service Board Meeting, Economic <br />Development Corporation, Partners of Co~nty Health Needs Assessment, <br />CASA meeting and NACO Legislative Day meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy - Attended the NACO Legislative Day Meeting. She reported <br />that the sample resolutions on the judicial district public defenders <br />were offered to counties. She attended the D.A.R.E graduations, <br />Weed Control meeting she reported on the use of insects to control <br />weeds. The Weed Department is working on installing the back flow <br />devices required by the city. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT ELLEN MERRILL REPORT <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill repoit'ted'on::.the Hall County picnic. The date has <br />been set as July 9 at'the,Hall County Park with Fonner Park as the <br />alternate location in case of rain. She reported on the information <br />from Howard Maxon on video taping the board meetings and requested <br />the~.boards direction. They request a microphone at each desk and <br />instructed that these proposals be put out for bids. This will <br />put on the May 16 agenda. Merrill was instructed to,inform Gene <br />Kramer to discontinue his reports. The memo to the county officials <br />was presented for the boards approval. Merrill presented the <br />information on the vending machines. B&TVending will provide complete <br />service. Mr. Hunt requested that all of the small machines be <br />removed. Discussion was held. Hartman made motion and Quandt <br />seconded to draw up a contract with Ted Hunt giving him exclusive <br />rights'.to the vending machines except the small machines. <br />Discussion was held.
