<br />The Public Works Committee Report on the Paradise Lake Estates
<br />Subdivision was received. They recommended that it be signed.
<br />Quandt made motion and Rosenkotter seconded to authorize(the
<br />plat of Paradise Estates be signed. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.>

<br />Ted Hunt, B&T Enterprises, presented his company as a full
<br />service vendor. He offers 10% of the gross sales as a commission
<br />to the users. Quandt made motion and Hartman seconded to have
<br />Ellen Merrill check into the revenue received from the other
<br />companies and more information from Mr. Hunt. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and
<br />none voted no.

<br />Two proclamations f~om Howard Maxon were received and read.
<br />Quandt made motion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept and sign
<br />the proclamation for National React Month. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and

<br />The second proclamation to set May 1 to May 7 :a~J Respect for
<br />Law Week was read. Quandt made motion and Rosenkotter seconded
<br />to sign. Qbernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter

<br />Hunter Campbell, with Campbell and Kirby law firm, spoke to the
<br />board concerning the second tier defense. He expressed his
<br />interestciti the second tier defense and sent a letter stating
<br />this. He discussed the option of a contract and the type of

<br />John Amick with the Hall County Historical Society discussed
<br />the AIda South proj~9t._'l'_bisparcel of larid was the site of
<br />the Murdock family (homestead ancll the sawmill. The trail remnants
<br />are still visable on this site: They are attempting to buy this
<br />land and a bid has been submitted. They may request funds from
<br />the County for this project. The site will be registered with
<br />the National Trust of Historic Places.

<br />Board of Equalization. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and none voted no.
<br />Marjorie Haubold Hall County Clerk presented the list of protests.
<br />As of May 1, 2,223 residential/commercial protests have been
<br />received.

<br />Letters from Monica McGuire were received by the County Clerks
<br />office and distributed to Abernethy, Hartman and Landis.

<br />Jan Pelland, Hall County Assessor, presented tax correction notices
<br />948 to 972. QUa:ndt. made motion and Rosenkotter seconded to authorize
<br />the Chair to iaitialthe tax correction notices. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none
<br />voted no.

<br />Resolution #1652 was read. Leslie made motion and Stelk seconded
<br />to accept and sign the resolution. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
