Quandt made motion and Hartman seconded to accept and place on file the above communications. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. BOARD ASSISTANT ELLEN MERRILL Wanted to know if she should address a letter to Mr. Fields to state the boards position on the CAAP water problem. Should this matter be referred to the Reuse Committee~ The Board felt this was a matter that involved the County as a whole. A committee was set up, with Hartman, Landis and Leslie, to meet with the project manager to discuss this problem. Merrill presented the letter to Fonner Park for the Boa~d~ signatures. BOARD REPORTS Stelk - Attended Library Board meeting. They have an increase of 9% in their budget. They agreed to pay the publication fee for the bookmobile. She also had information the the pay scale for employees. for the Midland Area Agency on Aging. Landis - Attended Safty Committee meeting and Reuse Committee meeting. Leslie - Attended Region III meeting. He mentioned that LB649 this would transfer DPI work to the Department of Health. This could cause some serious changes. Rosenkotter - Attended the Audit Committee meeting. Hartman - Attended Mid Plains meeting. They discovered and error in the billing code and they have changed their payroll to once monthly. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Landis had some questions on the quarterly ~eports. Questions were asked and Merrill will clarify these next week. The Public Works Committee will meet after this week when more data is received. at 12:35 P.M.
