<br />/ <br /> <br />~ -~:_- ~ <br />0::" <br /> <br />95F- 199 <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MARCH 7, 1995 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met March 7, 1995, at 9:00 A.~. <br />from adjourned session and by published call with Chairman Irene <br />Abernethy presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of February 28 meeting were received, Rosenkotter made <br />motion to correct minutes. Tammie Stelk seconded, Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes. <br />Quandt voted no. <br /> <br />Abernethy set audit committee to meet at 1:30. Members were <br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Leslie. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janu1ewicz stated that he felt <br />Hall County had no liability on the tort claim and it should be <br />denied. Quandt made motion to deny the tort claim, Rosenkotter <br />seconded.. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter <br />and Stelk voted yes and none voted no. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz presented the license agreement between JRK <br />Broadcasting and Hall County Civil Defense concerning the broad- <br />casting antenna located on the KRGI tower. Janulewlcz recoommended <br />approval of the license agreement with the attahcment. Quandt <br />made motion to approve license agreement,.Hartman seconded. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk <br />voted yes none voted no. <br /> <br />Discussion on Madison County qontract followed. Janulewicz talked <br />to Madison County on February 28 and March 7, but they have not made <br />a decision. They are looking at other options possibly their local <br />attornies or another county. Janulewicz will contact Madison County <br />concerning their decision and to express our desire to renew the <br />contract,then report to the board. <br /> <br />. Janu1ewicz ~re'sented Resol~ti~~ "ii628 concerning snow removal on <br />Wildwood Drive between North Road and Engleman Road. Quandt made <br />motion to adopt Resolution #1628 and Leslie seconded. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes <br />none voted no. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />/~~4R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SNOW REMOVAL <br />ON WILDWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN NORTH ROAD <br />AND ENGLEMAN ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wildwood Drive, between North Road and <br />Engleman Road, is a private road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in recent years said road has been <br />increasingly used by the general public ~s a through road <br />between North Road and Engleman Road and ~s frequently used <br />as a school route by parents of Cedar Hollow School students <br />when transporting children to and from school; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the landowners of said private road have <br />acquiesced in the use of said road by the general public. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that, due to the use made of said <br />private road by the general public and particularly by <br />parents of Cedar Hollow School students, the Board hereby <br />finds it is in the best interests of the County of ~all and <br />the inhabitants thereof tha~ the Hall Coun,ty Publ~c Works <br />Director be authorized and d~rected to prov~de snow removal <br />on Wildwood Drive between North Road and Engleman Road. <br />
