<br />--... ~ .,.--- ~ - .J' <br /> <br />95r-/?J <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING - JANUARY 17, 1995 <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />-\~ i <br /> <br />";.r <br />'11. <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned <br />session and by published call with Chairman Irene Aberenthy presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret <br />Landis, Gary Quandt, Judy Rosenkotter and Tammie Stelk. Robert Leslie <br />was absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. H. B. Schutle, Grace Lutheran Church. <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of January 10th. meeting was approved by motion of Quandt, <br />seconded by Hartman. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Quandt, Rosenkotter and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney, Jerry Janulewicz, recommended that the Board <br />go into executive session to discuss litigation strategy of St Francis <br />Medical Center VS Board of Equalization and discuss bidding strategy <br />on tax foreclosure sales. <br />9:06 A.M. - Quandt made motion, seconded by Stelk to enter into executive <br />session. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no. <br />10:00 A.M. - Quandt made motion, seconded by STelk to return to regular <br />session. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Stelk made motion, seconded by Rosenkotter to adopt Resolution #1611 <br />in rega~ds.to bids on Sheriff sales on various properties as listed. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Quandt, Rosenkbtter and Quandt voted yes, <br />none voted no. . <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />/11/ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDDING ON BEHALF OF <br />THE COUNTY OF HALL, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcels as set forth herein will be sold at <br />judicial sales conducted by the Hall county Sheriff on January <br />18, 1995, in satisfaction of the County's liens upon said parcels <br />for general real estate taxes, interest, fees, and court costs; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. Sec. 23-135 authorizes county boards <br />to approve the payment for a particular piece of real property to <br />be sold at auction by adopting a resolution stating the maximum <br />amount which the county may bid for the particular piece of <br />property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County has been requested <br />by its attorneys to adopt such a resolution concerning the <br />following described properties. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that counsel for the County of Hall, <br />Nebraska be hereby appointed and authorized to bid on behalf of <br />the County of Hall for the purchase of the following parcels of <br />real property in the respective amounts with such bids not to <br />exceed the amounts set forth herein, to wit: <br /> <br />1.
