<br />COMMUNICATIONS:
<br />Hartman referred to letter from Correction Director Dalton in regard to
<br />collect phone calls from jail inmates. He reported on calls he had
<br />received in regard to this. Need to look into system to correct.
<br />Chair Stelk requested be placed on next Board of Corrections Meeting
<br />to discuss the phone system at the jail facility.
<br />
<br />COUNTY ASSESSOR'S TAX CORRECTION NOTICES: Jan Pelland, County Assessor
<br />presented tax correction notices #1432 to #1461 Motion by Abernethy,
<br />seconded by Leslie to accept and authorize chair to sign tax correction
<br />notices #1432 to #1461.! Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />other Counties to recommend Margaret Landis election to NIRMA Board position

<br />10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER CONDITIONAL USE'PERMIT FOR A RECREA-
<br />TION VEHICLE PARK TO BE LOCATED ON SW CORNER OF 1-80 AND HIGHWAY 11.
<br />Request was from Joseph Lilley and Mary Babel who were present in the
<br />audience.
<br />Affidavit of Publication was read as published in Grand Island Indepen-
<br />dent and the Wood River Sunbeam.
<br />Supervisor Landis, Chair of the Conditional'Use Committee reported on
<br />meeting held by the committee. The Committee recommends the Conditional
<br />Use Permit be issued with the stipulation of the working "tank and field"

<br />Speaking during the Public Hearing were Ervin Mazour, Mayor of WOod River
<br />and Maxine Lambrecht, 11847 S. Nebraska Highway 11. Both expressed concerns
<br />about the ground water, sewage and contamination of water. Mayor' Mazour
<br />stated he supported the project as long as the water problems are taken care
<br />of. Max Boersen, Hall County Building Inspector explained the require-
<br />ments and location of the tank and field. Supervisor Quandt questioned the
<br />lake and Mr. Lilley stated they have installed a chain link fence all around
<br />the lake.
