<br />in Hall County Nebraska and urge all of our citizens to support the home care
<br />profession in its efforts to provide safe, affordable and comfortable health care in the

<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Landis to adopt the Proclamation and
<br />authorize chair to sign. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Hartman was absent. Motion carried.

<br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - NONE
<br />
<br />PURCHASE BULLET PROOF VESTS: Hall County Sheriff Fosket spoke in regard
<br />to the bullet proof vests, budgeted for in the 1996-1997 equipment acquis-
<br />ition budget. They have purchased and received 15 vests, with 5 year
<br />guarantee and now need to pay for them. He explained the vests and showed
<br />one to the board members. Cost $430.00 each, budgeted for $5000.00 and he
<br />would pay difference from his budget.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to approve the sheriff to
<br />purchase vests and pay from the equipment acquisition budget $5000.00
<br />with balance to be paid from Sheriff's budget. Abernethy, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Hartman was absent.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Chair Stelk requested Sheriff to explain to board members in regard to phone
<br />call she had received in regard to a duck or goose blind east of town, on
<br />Seedling Mile and'Gunbarrell road, look to east and see in Merrick County.
<br />Sheriff Fosket reported have checked out and they are within their
<br />rights and unable to do anything about it. Will contact Merrick County
<br />Sheriff to let him know they had have inquiries.

<br />CONDITIONAL USEl PERMIT" FOR BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE CORP.
<br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz presented the Conditional Use Permit, explained
<br />the legal description has been changed, now part of J&B Subdivision.
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION #96-0067 Motion by Long, seconded by Landis to adopt Resolution
<br />#96-0067 to grant Conditional Use Permit. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie,Long,
<br />Quand~'andStelk voted yes, none voted no. Hartman was absent. Motion
