<br />Public Hearing was closed at 10:48 a.m.

<br />Motlon oy Hartman, seconded by Landis to approve the 1996-1997 Hall
<br />County Budget as presented, with the change requested by Landis to add line
<br />item for special prosecutor $10,000.00 in the Justice System Budget by
<br />reducing the District and County Court Apoointed Attorney lines by $5000.00
<br />from each line. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long and Stelk voted
<br />yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried.

<br />COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR REQUEST: Howard Maxon, Communication Director spoke
<br />in regard to additional personnel request, He had sent a written letter and
<br />explained the request and answered questions from board members. The
<br />additional person will be a Telecommunicator/EMD.
<br />
<br />Chair recessed meeting at 11:00 a.m. and returned to session at 11:05 a.m.
