<br />County Treasuer's report and list of all unpaid real Estate Taxes and Special
<br />Assessments for year 1994 and prior years, which are delinquent and which were
<br />not sold at the last annual public tax sale held in March 1996.
<br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Long to accept and place on file the County
<br />Treasurer's report for unpaid real estate taxes. Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Abernethy was absent. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />
<br />Rick Stepanek, Building & Grounds Superintendent presented report and proposal
<br />for electrical work at Courthouse. One proposal from Kay ton Electric Inc
<br />for $62,500.00 plus $3250.00, total $65,750.00 to be completed in 120 days.
<br />Stepanek requested Board approval of the proposal received from Kay ton Electric.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to award the contract to Kay ton
<br />Electric Inc for electrical work at courthouse and to be paid from Inheritance
<br />Fund $65,750.00 total. Discussion on bond requirement for bid.
<br />Representative from Kay ton Electric Inc was present and stated he would provide
<br />a bond for the job. Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted
<br />yes, none voted no. Abernethy was absent. Motion carried.

<br />RESOLUTION #96-0047 was read. Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie to adopt
<br />Resolution #96-0047 as presented. Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Abernethy absent. Motion carried.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Board of Supervisors of HALL County, Nebraska, in
<br />regular session with a quorum present: The County Treasurer of said county is hereby
<br />directed to purchase any real estate, special assessments, improvements on leased land or
<br />mobile homes advertised and offered for sale at Public Tax Sale for the year 1993 when
<br />the same remains unsold for want of bidders, upon which there are two (2) or more years
<br />of delinquent taxes or special assessments, and to purchase all subsequent taxes or special
<br />assessments thereon as the same may become delinquent~ the tax sale certificate thereon
<br />and subsequent taxes and special assessments to be taken in the name of said county and
<br />to be for the use and benefit of all governmental subdivisions entitled to participate
<br />
