<br />Applications received but filed after the May 30th deadline were City of
<br />Wood River, request $50,000.00; Village of Alda, request $100,000.00
<br />and Grand Island Women's Club, request $25,000.00

<br />Jerom Janulewicz, Keno Fund Administrator had presented letter on June 20th
<br />for County Board's information. He spoke today in regard to the $150,000.00
<br />for direct tax relief, $150,000.00 for road projects and estimates $150,000.
<br />for Community Betterment Projects. Discussed the $24,000.00 to General
<br />Fund to offset expenses from the County Attorney's office budget.
<br />
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie, the Work Study Session now be taped
<br />but not video taped. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Long, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Discussion on the applications received and each one was discussed separately
<br />as to what each board member felt should be funded and how much to be granted.
<br />No action was taken today.
<br />
<br />Chairman Stelk adjourned the regular meeting but recessed the Work Study
<br />Session at 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 16, 1996.
<br />
<br />Next County Board of Supervisor meeting will be Tuesday, July 16, 1996 at
<br />9:00 a.m.
