<br />9?r,/S:L/ <br /> <br />, A request from Judge Theresa Luther for additional funding for the <br />purchase of a photo copier for the District Judges offices was presented <br />to the board members. The old machine has been repaired in the past and <br />is now requiring additional repairs. Abernethy read the proposed <br />resolution for the transfer of funds to purchase the copier. Abernethy <br />made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to approve the resolution to <br />transfer funds from miscellaneous general office equipment line to the <br />District Judges budget. Discussion was held and it was pointed out <br />the amount remaining in their budget was 67%. Abernethy withdrew her <br />motion and Rosenkotter withdrew her second. <br /> <br />FULL CIRCLE SERVICES INC. PROPOSAL REGARDING UNCLAIMED FUNDS: The <br />agreement and fee memorandum from Full Circle Services, Inc., was <br />read, stating that they would recover funds totaling $2,375.31 for <br />Hall County for a 35.0% fee. Landis made a motion and Abernethy <br />seconded to approve and sign the agreement if the County Attorney <br />approved it. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />all voted yes and Rosenkotter voted no because this may be a conflict <br />with David Griffith and Associates agreement. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD ASSISTANT ELLEN MERRILL'S REPORT: She stated her progress <br />report was included in the packets and she had nothing else to report. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: <br /> <br />Quandt - He attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging. <br /> <br />Landis - She presented copies of the new resolution for the paunch <br />manure application to the board members, some changes have been made. <br />She stated that Tom Drudik brought in a specialist that will be at <br />the public hearing May 7 with information. There will be a Safty <br />Committee meeting May ~ at 9:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Paunch Committee meeting. He also met <br />with Darrell Johnson and James Ripp concerning the drainage project <br />south of Wood River. The Public Works Department is working on this <br />project today. Another ditch near Wood River needs to be cleaned out <br />to prevent water backing up. Landis made a motion and Rosenkotter <br />seconded to authorize Richard Hartman and Jerry Janulewicz to look <br />at this situation and proceed with necessary action. Landis <br />amended her motion to include the Public Works Department. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Rosenkotter - She attended the Economic Development meeting, the <br />Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting and a Youth Multicultural <br />conferance at the Extension Office. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the College Park Board meeting and said the <br />pledges are all in. They have awarded three scholarships from the <br />Reynolds Foundation. She also attended the County Government Day <br />Committee meeting. County Government Day will be November 12, 1996 <br />and there is a change in the program. <br /> <br />Leslie - He attended the Youth Violence Committee meeting. They have <br />met for 12 weeks and will make a report to the County Board. <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the County Government Day Committee meeting and <br />read the proposed agenda. They will hold a mock trail in the judges <br />chambers, have a walk through of the offices and have a video from <br />NACO. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Quandt read the letter from.th~cSt&t~ bf-N~braska <br />Department of Roads concerning the Locust Street/I-80. Dan Hostler <br />will be contacted concerning this letter. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: Rosenkotter reported that the Youth Multicultural <br />Conferance included 15 students from Walnut Junior High School and <br /> <br />requested that a certificate of recognition be se~t to the~. <br />
