<br />HONEYWELL CONTRACT: Preferred maintenance and temperature control services
<br />at two locations. County Jail, 131 S. Locust July 1, 1996 - June 30,1997
<br />$16,421.00; July 1, 1997 - June 20, 2002 $16,749.00 annually effective
<br />July 1, 1996; for Administration Building, October 1, 1996 - September 30,
<br />1997 $14,699, October 1, 1997 - September 30, 2002 $15,268 annually, to
<br />start October 1, 1996.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Rosenkotter to approve the two contracts
<br />with Honeywell and authorize chair to sign contracts. Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, Abernethy and
<br />Hartman were absent from room. Motion carried 5 yes, 2 absent vote.
<br />
<br />OFFICE REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS: Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by
<br />Quandt to accept office reports from Election Commissioner, Clerk of
<br />District Court, and Register of Deeds and the communications as received
<br />in weekly packets. Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted
<br />yes, none voted no, with Abernethy and Hartman absent from room. Motion
<br />carried on 5 yes, 2 absent vote.

<br />BOARD ASSISTANT REPORT: Had presented updated progress report, and copy
<br />of letter which needs board members signatures, and health insurance forms
<br />which are due back to her office by Wednesday.
<br />
<br />Supervisor Abernethy returned to meeting.

<br />Landis - Attended Paunch Manure committee meeting and read the written
<br />Committee recommendation.
<br />
<br />The Paunch Manure Commi~tee recommends the Hall County Board of
<br />Supervisors hold a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May
<br />7, 1996, on a proposed resolution providing rules and regulations
<br />governing the land application of paunch manure.

<br />with Abernethy last week, Have Head Start evaluation meeting
<br />scheduled for tonight.

<br />Abernethy- Attended merit commission meeting, Mental Health meeting in
<br />Kearney, she passed around some pictures she had taken at
<br />the South Sioux City facility on visit last week. ~

<br />Jerry Janulewicz, Grand Island Personnel Director Lisa
<br />Thayer, Regional Planning Commission Chair Dee Price, and a
<br />Regional Planning Commission member who represents a rural
<br />area and is selected by the Hall County Board of Supervisors
<br />review applications received for the position of Planning
<br />Director
