stated we need to set the fees today or stop it completely.
Mr. Humphrey stated that they provide primitive camping pads at a reduced rate and sometimes
people with campers use those areas even if there isn't any water or electricity. Discussion was
held on what the state charges. They have a $3.00 sewage charge and $3.00 water charge
plus the camping fee. Discussion was held to set the dumping fee at $15.00.
Mr. Ziola stated that the idea of setting the fee at$20.00 is to discourage the practice of using
the dump station only and not camping.
Mr. Quandt expressed concern that they had to spend $5,000.00 on the pumps and additional
fees to flush out the system. He would like to stay at the $20.00. There should also be some
annual maintenance on the lines that will help keep them working.
Mr. Zitterkopf stated the board needs to decide what they want to do and he can
prepare a resolution establishing the fees.
The vote on the motion to set the dumping fee at$20.00 was taken. Lancaster, McFarland,
Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and Arnold and Purdy voted no. Motion carried.
Discussion was held to set an effective date.
McFarland made a motion and Quandt seconded to make the effective date to set the dumping
fee September 151. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes
and Arnold voted no. Motion carried. Mr. Zitterkopf will prepare the resolution for approval at
the next meeting.
9.
