APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS—The board members <br /> received the board preapproval list for the claims. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and the regular <br /> claims except for the claim from Office Net. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the claim from Office Net. Mr. <br /> McFarland will abstain from voting because he has a business relationship with Office Net. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> McFarland abstained. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Mr. Quandt stated that Grand Island received <br /> bad news on the Veteran's Home and the committee and the citizens are supporting the <br /> decision to try and keep the home in Grand Island. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated that the facilities committee will meet tomorrow and tour the old jail with <br /> the judges to see the space available in the court house annex. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT—Stacey Ruzicka stated she did not have a report. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 12:00 p.m. The Board of Equalization will meet at 1:30 for final action on <br /> the property valuation protests. <br /> Marla J. onley H I County Cle <br /> 7 <br />
