Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to let them set up the water stop on the Courthouse lawn. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Landis.requested that the letters to the County Judges requesting an opinion on CAS A also be sent to the 2 judges in Kearney. These will be sent out closer to budget time. BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS - Quandt - He attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging. meeting. Landis - She attended the CAAP meeting, Weed Control Committee meeting, Jail Committee meeting and the Conditional Use Permit Committee. Hartman - He attended the Conditional Use Permit Committee meeting and the Weed Co~~rol Superintendent Committee. Rosenkotter - She attended Head Start meeting, Econonic Development and Long-Range Planning meeting. Abernethy ~ She attended the College Park Board meeting, Jail Committee meeting, the Mental Health Adivsory meeting and will report on Region III meeting later. Leslie - ae attended the Reuse meeting, Region III Governing Board and the Corrections Committee meeting. Stelk - She attend the Midland Area Agency on Aging they discussed legislative issues. She attended the Weed Superintendent Committee meeting and they held the interviews for the superintendent position. The board is to recess until Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. to complete the interviews. Discussion was held on using the top three or top two candidates. Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to use the top two candidates. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis and Leslie voted yes, Quandt and Stelk voted no and Rosenkotter ~bstained. Motion carried. Discussion was held on the time of the meeting. It was decided to set the meeting for Wednesday, January 31, at 4:00 P.M. for the entire County Board and Weed Board members to complete the interviews. UNFINISHED BUSINESS- The clerk's office received additional information on the claim from David Plautz for $160.00 that was held for clarification. Abernethy made a motion and Landis seconded to pay the claim. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS - The Election Committee consisting of Judy Rosenkotter, Irene Abernethy and Richard Hartman should also include Gary Quandt. His name will be added to the committee. This committee will meet with Mary Kay Shay February 12, at 9:30. Meeting recessed until Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, meeting adjourned for lack of quorum at 4:15 P.M.
