Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />The Weed Control Superintendent position advertisement has been <br />published and the applications are to be received by January 22 <br />at 5:00 P.M. It was questioned if the full board wanted to interview <br />all the applicants or the Weed Committee. Hartman, Landis and <br />Stelk are on the Weed Committee. When the applications are all in, <br />the ,committee will review the applications. <br /> <br />. David Williams, State Director with Animal Damage Control, and <br />Russell Rosiere, Animal Damage Control specialis~ responded to the <br />board's request for assistance. Mr. Williams explained that if a <br />program is active in a county they can help with the coyote problem <br />and also help by reducing flooding and erosion caused by beaver <br />activity. The contract is renewed each year at a cost of $4,500.00. <br />Counties are billed quarterly in equal increments. The contracts <br />are renewed with the countv ~t budget time. Various questions <br />were answered by Mr. Mr. Rosiere. Mr. Williams presented <br />the standard contract for the boards approval. Landis made a motion <br />and Hartman seconded to approve Animal Damage Control to start a <br />program in Hall County. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Landis made <br />an amendment to her motion and Leslie seconded to sign the contract <br />as soon as it is approved by the county attorney. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The report from the JuvenirePaternity Cases Committee was read, <br />recommending the Board accept the contract from Truell, Garroutte <br />and Pullen. Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />accept the committee's recommendation. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. This agreement will be presented to the board <br />on January 23. <br /> <br />The bid specifications for the janitorial services were given to the <br />board members in their packets. Rosenkotter made a motion ana Abernethy <br />seconded to accept the specifications. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to set the bid <br />opening date as February6, 1996, at 10:00 A.M. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The 1995 road tour video tape will be reviewed by the board members <br />after the meeting adjourns. Dan Hostler spoke to the board on the <br />plaque that was presented on the construction of the Lepin Floodway <br />project. He requested that the Public Works Committee set a time <br />to meet next week. <br /> <br />11:25 A.M. Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />go into a Board of Equalization meeting. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />JoAnn Tagge, Deputy County Assessor, stated that they received a <br />call from New Holland requesting an additonal extension to obtain <br />information for the valuation. It was recommended to set the <br />extension for February 13. Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy <br />seconded to make the extension for February 13 on the omitted and <br />and under valued property for New Holland. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:36 A.M.
