Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to refer <br />this to the County Attorney for an opinion. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis; Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The letter from John Wagoner questioning jail standards was <br />discussed. Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to send a <br />copy of this letter to Joel Dalton,Corrections Directo~ requesting <br />Joel to respond to Mr. Wagoner's letter. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />A copy of the letter from Senator Ardyce Bohlke concerning the child <br />support enforcement will be sent to County Attorney Ellen Totzke. <br /> <br />The information received on the various legislative hearings will <br />be discussed when the final bills are sent to the legislature. <br /> <br />Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to accept the <br />rest of the communications and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes and none voted no. <br /> <br />Board Assistant Ellen Merrill - H~r progress report was included <br />in the packets. Letters to Susan Stuckert, Joel Dalton and Bill <br />Bean were presented for, signatUrres. Rosenkotter made a motion and <br />Landis seconded to sign the letters. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />,Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution #1687 to set the salary for the Public Defender was <br />read by Quandt. Landis made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded <br />to accept and sign Resolution #1687.
