<br />96ftJO~~ <br /> <br />j, <br /> <br />Rosenkotter read the following list of designated newpapers for 1996: <br /> <br />Grand Island Independent <br />Doniphan Herald <br />Cairo Record, <br />Wood River Sunbeam <br /> <br />Grand Island, Nebraksa <br />Doniphan, Nebraska <br />Cairo, Nebraska <br />Wood River, Nebraska <br /> <br />Rosenkotter made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve these <br />as the designated newspapers for 1996. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />A letter from the Public Defender's office was received requesting <br />additonal funding to purchase a plain paper FAX machine and <br />additional paper for that office. Landis made a motion and Hartman <br />seconded to deny this request. Discussion was held. Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and Abernethy <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. Robert Leslie was excused from the meeting. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to open the <br />public hearing for the renewal of a conditional use permit for <br />Muckel's Aerial. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Landis reported that the committee met to review the request for <br />the permit and did not have any objections to the renewal. Roger <br />Muckel,3209 Valley View Avenue, was present to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to close the public hearing. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Leslie was excused from the meeting. <br /> <br />Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to grant the renewal of <br />the conditional use permit for Muckel's Aerial. Hartman made <br />a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to approve resolutions #1689, <br />#1690, #1691 and #1692.
