<br />91F ~~6 <br /> <br />APPROVE WOOD RIVER LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTRACT: Hartman made a <br />motion and Quandt seconded to approve the Wood River law <br />enforcement contract. This is a three-year contract and can <br />be automatically renewed. The contract has an escalation clause <br />that will increase the Wood River Contract if the Hall County <br />Sheriff1s budget increases. The contract has been approved <br />by the City of Wood River. The City of Wood River will receive <br />a $4,000.00 a-year rebate for three years to cover the purchase <br />of the car. At the end of the three year period the car will <br />be owned by Hall County. The equipment will now be the property <br />of Hall County. If the contract is terminated the equipment <br />will go back to the City of Wood River. The contract also <br />addresses additonal services that may be needed by the City <br />of Wood River. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long,Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Landis absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Chairman Long called for public <br />participation and no one responded. <br /> <br />FINAL PLATS: Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />approve by consent agenda the following: <br />final plat for Hannon Subdivision <br />final plat for Floyd Acres Subdivision <br />final plat for Coen Subdivision <br />accept the County inventories and place on file <br />accept and place on file the county office reports from <br />County Court and County Attorney <br />accept and place on file communications <br />place on file the Hall County Treasurer1s Miscellaneous <br />Receipts <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :10 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Stelk seconded to go <br />into a Board of Corrections meeting. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted <br />no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :40 a.m. Returned to regular session <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN COUNTY HIGHWAY SUPERINTENEDENT <br />NOTICE: Quandt made a motion and Hartman seconded to authorize <br />the Chair to sign the Notification of County Highway <br />Superintendent for Daniel Hostler. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted <br />no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ACCEPT 1997 STATE HIGHWAY PLAN AND NEEDS REPORT: Hartman made <br />a motion and Stelk seconded to accept the 1997 report and place <br />on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk <br />all voted yes and none voted no, with Landis absent. Motion <br />carried. <br />
