Stelk made a motion and <br />Abernethy seconded to pay one-half of the real estate commission <br />up to $3,000.00 from the Inheritance Fund. Abernethy, Lancaster, <br />Long and Stelk all voted yes, Quandt voted no and Hartman <br />abstained, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING FOP NEGOTIATIONS: Stelk made a motion <br />and Abernethy seconded to go into executive session. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:45 a.m. Executive session. <br /> <br />10:25 a.m. Abernethy made a motion and Stelk seconded to go <br />out of executive session. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes with Landis absent. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Hartman made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the <br />Hall County Sheriff's concept for salary modification and the <br />rank structure will be revamped. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Long and Stelk all voted yes and Quandt voted no, with Landis <br />absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING ON MANAGERS LICENSE FOR CINDY L KUHN: <br />Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to open the public <br />hearing for the managers license for Cindy Kuhn. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The letter from the Hall County Sheriff's office was received <br />stating there was no reason not to approve the license. No <br />one appeared in opposition. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to close the public <br />hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk <br />all voted yes and none voted no, with Landis absent. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the <br />managers license for Cindy Kuhn. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:35 a.m. Break <br /> <br />10:42 a.m. Returned to session <br /> <br />DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL FOR PURCHASE OF SHERIFF'S CARS: Sheriff <br />Perkins stated that the final decision on who will receive the <br />state bid is not settled so he requested to delay this item <br />until later. Perkins would like to buy the cars locally. This <br />will be discussed on the December 23 agenda. <br />
