91Fj~1 3.0 Group Camping and Picnicking Groups of twenty (20) or more persons who desire to use the park for camping or picnicking shall notify the park superintendent at least 24 hours in advance. 4.0 Days and Hours of Operation 4.1 The park opening and closing dates shall be determined by the park superintendent but will be approximately April through October. Camping is permitted during camping season which will be established by the park superintendent, but will be approximately April 15 through October 15. The park superintendent may open the park during other periods under such conditions and restrictions as deemed appropriate or necessary by the park superintendent. 4.2 During camping season the park will be open from 6:30 a.m. through 11 :00 p.m. except that registered campers are permitted to remain in the park between the hours of 11 :00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Park hours during other times of the year shall be set by the park superintendent based upon staffing, visitor safety, and park conditions. 4.3 The park entrance gate will be closed from 11 :00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. during camping season. Except in cases of emergency, campers are not be permitted to enter or leave the park when the entrance gate is closed unless prior arrangements are made with park employees. Instructions for leaving the park in the event of an emergency when the gate is closed shall be posed at the gate. 5.0 Collection of Fees I . The park superintendent or his or her designee shall collect camping fees, issue receipts, and maintain records of all fee transactions. All fees shall be remitted to the county treasurer for deposit. Fees shall be credited to the county general fund. 6.0 Supervision The park superintendent shall be responsible for the operation of the park under the control, direction, and supervision of the Hall County Board of Supervisors and the Board's Parks and Recreation Committee. 7.0 Violations Violations of park rules shall be subject to prosecution under applicable state law. Persons violating park rules may be directed to leav;e the park if deemed necessary by the park superintendent or park personnel.
