<br />tf? r .5~1 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING NOVEMBER 24, 1997 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call November 24 , 1997, at 9:00 a.m., in the <br />County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, <br />Nebraska. <br /> <br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Irene Abernethy. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huey <br />Long. <br /> <br />ROLL CALLi Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard <br />Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Huey Long, Gary <br />Quandt and Tammie Stelk. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 18 MEETING: Abernethy made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to accept the minutes and place on file. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING PERSONNEL: Lancaster made a motion <br />and Stelk seconded to go into executive session regarding <br />personnel. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />8:45 a.m. Executive session <br /> <br />9:06 a.m. Stelk made a motion and Hartman seconded to go out of <br />executive session. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />CHARLES KAUFMAN PARK REPORT: Hall County Park Director, Charles <br />Kaufman and Penny Evans presented the board members with a <br />recommendation to revise duration of the camping season. It was <br />recommended to open the park on April 15 and to remain open until <br />October 15, extending the camping season two weeks. This change <br />was made in response to letters requesting the longer camping <br />season. <br /> <br />APPROVE RESOLUTION ON RULES FOR HALL COUNTY PARK: Stelk made a <br />motion and Abernethy seconded to approve Resolution #970078 on <br />the park regulations. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # q 7- GO 7<6' <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REVISED RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />GOVERNING THE USE AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE GEORGE H. CLAYTON <br />HALL COUNTY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to revise the rules and <br />regulations governing the use and administration of the George H. Clayton Hall County <br />Park. <br />
