Attorney John Cunningham requested to <br />have another public hearing in the evening so people could <br />attend. The board felt this needed to be finalized. Deputy <br />County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz pointed out that under the <br />current resolution concerning salvage automobiles, ag-Iand usage <br />is for agricultural use only and the new resolution is an attempt <br />to recognize people who have this hobby but also give some <br />control. According to the curr,ent resolution the County Building <br />Inspector could give notice to those who don't comply and court <br />action could be taken by the County Attorney. Hartman stated <br />that the people would like to work together to redraft another <br />resolution and come to an agreement. The conditional use <br />committee will meet today at 4:00 p.m. with representatives from <br />the group to make another draft and put the resolution on the <br />agenda for November 4. Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded <br />to close the public hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING JEAN FISHER REGISTER OF DEEDS: Jean <br />Fisher, Register of Deed~ was in attendance and the resolution <br />was read. Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve <br />Resolution #97-0073 recognizing Jean Fisher, Register of Deeds. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-C:;rJ7-=5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jean Fisher, Hall County Register of Deeds, has annOlU1ced her retirement <br />from the office of Register of Deeds for Hall Cmmty; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for the last twenty-three years Jean Fisher has diligently and ably served <br />as the Register of Deeds for Hall County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors seeks to honor Jean Fisher for her <br />dedicated service to the citizens of Hall County. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hall County Board of Supervisors expresses its <br />appreciation to Jean Fisher for her exemplary servi.ce as the Hall County Register of Deeds <br />and further extends its best \v1shes to Jean Fisher upon her retirement. <br /> <br />PASSED k"ID AOOPTED THIS 28TII DAY OF OCTOBER, 1997. <br /> <br />HALL COu~lY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br /> <br />
