91 ;::- 3.6D COMMITTEE REPORTS: The public works committee report was read and Hartman made a motion and Quandt seconded to set the bid opening for a new 130 HP tractor and a new 75 PTO HP mower tractor for November 18, 1997, at 10:00 a.m. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The letter concerning the Hall County Park should be answered and the letter from the city of Grand Island for the facilities planning committee will be taken care of by Chairman Long. COMMENCE AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS AND ACTION ON CLAIM AUDIT: Stelk made a motion to approve all claims except the claim from Building and Grounds for the secretary the hours need to be verified. Motion failed for a lack of a second. Discussion was held. Landis made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve all claims but on claim number 617 to pay line item 1-405 for $887.00 but to deny line item 1-0500 for $133.05, until the Building and Grounds Committee can clarify this. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
