91;: 3511 OFFICE REPORTS: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to accept the office reports from the Veterans Service office, Register of Deeds and statistical report from the County Attorney and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to accept and place on file communications. The letter from regionai pianning concern~ng quarteriy reports was discussed and the board wanted to verify what the agreement stated regarding reports to the County Board. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen, board secretary included her progress report in the packets and asked if any of the board members will be attending the Crisis Center dinner on November 8. Long or Stelk will try to attend. Leadership Tomorrow requested to use the county board meeting room. The board approved Leadership Tomorrow to use the board room. Abernethy attend the Crisis Center dinner. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: Stelk - She attendedapersonnel committee meeting and they discussed new evaluation forms. The ADA Committee held their first meeting and Don Shuda is chairman and Roxanne Vipond is secretary. They are working on a needs assessment and Marvin Webb, Sid Cook and Rick Stepanek are also on the committee. She attended the CVE Board meeting and the lodging tax dollars are up. She will also have a computer committee meeting November 4. will Quandt - He attended the ADA meeting. Landis - She attended the Health Board meeting for Stelk and they had a good attendance. She also attended the Weed Board meeting, the Criminal Justice meeting and the personnel committee meeting. Abernethy - She attended the NACO convention, College Park Board meeting, government visions meeting, the emergency management training and the criminal justice committee meeting. They worked on a survey form and the survey will be reviewed by the full board. Lancaster - She attended the NACO convention, Heartland Vision, criminal justice committee and the community justice coalition. Long - He worked on the inventories and completed them and he attended CNCS in Loup City. They need to hire a new administrator and deputy director. Hartman - He attended a meeting in Wood River with the Sheriff. Wood River's city cop resigned and they are needing help. Hartman also wanted to know if the board could send another letter concerning the stop light in Doniphan.
