<br />91;: 3511 <br /> <br />OFFICE REPORTS: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to <br />accept the office reports from the Veterans Service office, <br />Register of Deeds and statistical report from the County Attorney <br />and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to <br />accept and place on file communications. The letter from <br />regionai pianning concern~ng quarteriy reports was discussed and <br />the board wanted to verify what the agreement stated regarding <br />reports to the County Board. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen, board secretary <br />included her progress report in the packets and asked if any of <br />the board members will be attending the Crisis Center dinner on <br />November 8. Long or Stelk will try to attend. Leadership <br />Tomorrow requested to use the county board meeting room. The <br />board approved Leadership Tomorrow to use the board room. Abernethy <br />attend the Crisis Center dinner. <br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: Stelk - She attendedapersonnel committee <br />meeting and they discussed new evaluation forms. The ADA <br />Committee held their first meeting and Don Shuda is chairman and <br />Roxanne Vipond is secretary. They are working on a needs <br />assessment and Marvin Webb, Sid Cook and Rick Stepanek are also <br />on the committee. She attended the CVE Board meeting and the <br />lodging tax dollars are up. She will also have a computer <br />committee meeting November 4. <br /> <br />will <br /> <br />Quandt - He attended the ADA meeting. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the Health Board meeting for Stelk and they <br />had a good attendance. She also attended the Weed Board meeting, <br />the Criminal Justice meeting and the personnel committee meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the NACO convention, College Park Board <br />meeting, government visions meeting, the emergency management <br />training and the criminal justice committee meeting. They worked <br />on a survey form and the survey will be reviewed by the full <br />board. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the NACO convention, Heartland Vision, <br />criminal justice committee and the community justice coalition. <br /> <br />Long - He worked on the inventories and completed them and he <br />attended CNCS in Loup City. They need to hire a new <br />administrator and deputy director. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended a meeting in Wood River with the Sheriff. <br />Wood River's city cop resigned and they are needing help. <br />Hartman also wanted to know if the board could send another <br />letter concerning the stop light in Doniphan. <br />
