<br />8. Discussion of an election regarding the prison and state
<br />statues that regulate election issues. Landis made the motion,
<br />seconded by Hartman, to have the Board Assistant Lisa Hagen draft
<br />a letter to be sent to our State Senators requesting a change in
<br />the Legislation regarding state statues on voting rights for
<br />County entities. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long,
<br />and Quandt all voted yes. Motion carried.

<br />petition and set the public hearing for October 28, 1997 at 10:45
<br />for the Hospital Authority Board of Trustees. Abernethy,

<br />approve the claim for the Diesel Fuel Tax Claim to the State.

<br />Landis made the motion to approve the final plats for Eclipse,
<br />and Schuppan Farms Subdivision. The motion was seconded by

<br />Lancaster made the motion to accept the resignation of R. W. Bass
<br />as Commissioner on the Regional Planning Commission. The motion
<br />was seconded by Abernethy with the recommendation that a letter
<br />of appreciation be sent to Mr. Bass. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, and Quandt all voted yes. Motion
<br />carried.
