. 9?; 3tJ 1 Resolution #97-tJO~L A RESOLUTION SEITING THE 1997-1998 HALL COUNlY TAX LEVY WHEREAS, the Hall COtll1ty Board of Supervisors passed the 1997-1998 Hall COtll1ty budget on September 2, 1997; and WHEREAS, this budget requires a tax levy lower than the preliminary levy of .38254 certified by the Hall County Clerk; and WHEREAS, a special public hearing was called by the Hall COtll1ty Board of Supervisors on September, 16, 1997, following publication of notice as required by law, for the purpose of setting the levy at an amount different from the preliminary levy certified by the Hall County Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hall County Board of Supervisors that the 1997-1998 tax levy for Hall County shall be .36854. Passed and adopted this 16th day of September, 1997. By: ;.u:! Hall <Jounty Cler j ALICE MAHOOD - APPROVAL TO PURCHASE COPIER: Alice Mahood sent a letter requesting to purchase the copier. Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve the purchase of a copier for County Court. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 9:55 a.m. Break 10:00 a.m. Returned to session PUBLIC HEARING TO EXCLUDE PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRAIL TRACT: Lancaster made a motiona nd Abernethy seconded to open the public hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Chairman Long called for public participation regarding the public hearing.
