<br />9J~',3CJ/ <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING SEPTEMBER 9, 1997 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call September 9, 1997, at 9:00 a.m. in the <br />County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, <br />Nebraska. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huey <br />Long. <br /> <br />INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Rev. Vernon Warner. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard <br />Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Huey Long and Gary <br />Quandt, with Tammie Stelk absent. Also present were Deputy <br />County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and news media representatives <br />from KRGI and the Grand Island Independent. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 26 MEETING: Quandt made a motion and <br />Abernethy seconded to approve the minutes as received. Abernethy <br />requested on correction be made. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, with <br />Stelk absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz <br />presented a copy of the Resolution to exclude property from the <br />industrial tract. Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to <br />approve Resolution #97-0060. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, with <br />Stelk absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-tJl) (170 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br />A DESIGNATED COUNTY INDUSTRIAL AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Poland Oil, Inc., no~ Sapp Brothers Petroleum, Inc., a Nebraska <br />corporation, William D. Sapp, and Robert K. Poland, hereinafter referred to as "Petitioners," are <br />the owners of the following described tracts of real estate which are included within the <br />boundaries of a designated county industrial area: <br /> <br />(See Attached Exhibit "A"~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On July 10, 1997, Petitioners filed with the Hall County Clerk their petition <br />for exclusion of the above-referenced tracts from the designated county industrial area within <br />which said tracts are located ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On September 3, 1997, upon notice as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. sec. 13- <br />1113 and 13-1119, the Hall County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing upon said petition. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, The Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby finds that the <br />best interests of the community and the industrial area will be served by the exclusion of the tracts <br />as described in Exhibit" A" from the designated county industrial area. It is therefore Ordered <br />that said tracts are hereby excluded from the designated county industrial area and the boundaries <br />thereof are hereby changed according to this order. When a certified copy of this order is filed <br />with the Hall County Register of Deeds and with the Hall County Assessor, such tracts shall no <br />longer be included within the industrial area. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED TIllS '7 DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1997. <br />
